What the media got wrong about Typhoon Katrina

Today, FRANCE 24’s media show considers Hurricane Katrina and the press. Publish and relay media are running special protection noting the 20th anniversary of the calamity. There are also a minimum of eight new documentaries, consisting of different jobs by big names like Spike Lee and Ryan Coogler. Two usual themes remain the racial and class problems surrounding discharge orders and the emergency feedback, along with reporting that overmuch– and at times incorrectly– covered accounts of physical violence and looting. Our guests are writer Clint Smith and filmmaker Edward Buckles, Jr.
