What cost commitment? UK supermarket cards rated

As prices rise, we take a look at whether schemes such as Tesco’s Clubcard and Sainsbury’s Nectar are a bargain

Got cleaning to do? Would you instead pay ₤ 16 for Ariel cleaning shells or ₤ 8? Thirsty? How about ₤ 5 or nearly ₤ 8 for a dozen Diet Cokes. Hungry? ₤ 2.50 a pop for Pringles or ₤ 1.75?

The reduced costs are amongst the existing “top choices” for Tesco Clubcard owners– and it’s a comparable tale in other huge supermarkets. With the cost of groceries increasing, it no longer makes good sense to shop without signing up with a loyalty scheme when it is on offer.
