Lawmakers in the U.S. Senate are readied to elect on March 4th on a bipartisan war powers resolution aiming to quit the army campaign against Iran and need that any hostilities against it be authorised by Congress. This comes as Trump faces little voter assistance for the war. Yet legislators’ initiatives to suppress Trump’s ability to “prod alone with Israel in this battle against Iran are nearly sure to fail”, advises FRANCE 24’s Douglas Herbert.
