Washington is putting further pressure on Venezuela with a major naval build up in the Caribbean. The US military has already struck at least 19 suspected drug vessels since September. The White House on Monday defended a US admiral’s decision to conduct multiple strikes on one such vessel. Reports said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered that everyone be killed.
