Leaping right into action after a ball kicked by Istanbul Yurdum Spor’s goalkeeper knocked a low-flying seagull to the ground, group captain Gani Catan successfully restored the battered bird with rudimentary CPR. The seagull was subsequently taken away by medical staff for more treatment.
