Thousands of countless individuals stranded by the fierce floodings that have swept through in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia got on Tuesday facing increasingly disconcerting shortages of food and fuel. Almost 1,200 have been killed in the torrents caused by downpour rainfalls and cyclones.
