A video clip uploaded online on January 22 shows a Kurdish boxer posing selfie-style in front of 21 drab bodies adhering to the discharge of a prison in Kobane, Syria. While the Syrian Democratic Forces stated the video is authentic, they keep the bodies were those of armed combatants — an insurance claim negated by our Observer, that was released from the same jail.
