Under the shadow people President Donald Trump, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo will sign a new contract aimed at reducing stress in the conflict-torn eastern DRC. The bargain, commemorated by Trump as a major peace triumph, comes in spite of recurring physical violence on the ground and questions concerning whether it will really alter the situation or development long-term peace.
