Belarusian and russian athletes will certainly be enabled to contend under their own national flags at the 2026 Paralympics in Milan-Cortina, the Games’ controling body confirmed to AFP on Tuesday. Valeriy Sushkevych, head of state of the Ukrainian Paralympic Committee, knocked the action, stating “I am extremely, annoyed and extremely angry by the choice to permit six Russian athletes to compete under their nationwide flag”.
