United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio is on the last leg of a whirlwind journey to Europe that saw him attend to the Munich Security Conference, fulfill Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban for talks, and visit an additional right-wing ally, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Despite talking a solid link and shared heritage with Europeans, Rubio’s message has barely altered, as he criticised Europe’s power policy, striking what Douglas Herbert of FRANCE 24 described as the “same ideological notes” and the “same vibration with many of the MAGA themes.”
