It is 6 o’clock in the morning on Saturday 7 October 2023. Half awake, I call out in a hoarse voice to my 2 sisters that are sleeping on their beds alongside me: “Enas, Remas, get up– you have college.”
We were not to know it yet, yet this was the day when every little thing would transform. The day when dreadful occasions throughout the boundary in Israel would bring about a battle that became a gateway to heck itself.
