Islamabad claimed it accomplished strikes along the border with Afghanistan very early Sunday, targeting what it called hideouts of Pakistani militants it condemned for current strikes inside Pakistan. The Afghan Red Crescent Society claimed more than a dozen people were killed. Pakistan really did not define the places targeted, however the Afghan defense ministry said in a statement “various private locations” in the provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika in eastern Afghanistan were hit, including a spiritual madrassa and multiple noncombatant homes.
