More than 200 Venezuelan political detainees started a hunger strike on Sunday, demanding addition in a brand-new amnesty legislation they claim omits numerous detainees, specifically those encountering military-related costs. The law, accepted by Congress last week, forms part of reforms backed by Washington after former president Nicolas Maduro’s January ouster.
