Oil lack, not removal of assents, will certainly increase Russia’s power exports, expert states

United States President Donald Trump states he’s weighing lifting oil assents in an initiative to keep power rates down, in a step that is seen benefiting Russia and its funding of the battle in Ukraine. Speaking with FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, Sergey Vakulenko, Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Centre, discusses that permissions have done little up until now to stem oil exports, however a crude lack is far more most likely to enhance Russian energy sales abroad.
