Previous French head of state Nicolas Sarkozy goes back to court on Monday to test his conviction over accusations he sought project funding from Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya for his 2007 election. Sarkozy, who denies misbehavior, briefly served time in 2015. The Paris charms court retrial will run till June 3.
