The Milan Cortina Olympics ended Sunday and passed the Olympic flag over to the following Winter Games host country, France, increasing its flag beside Italy’s and Greece’s. The closing event payed tribute to Italian dancing and songs, as some 1,500 Olympians filed right into the arena waving little national flags to an assortment of Italian pop hits.
