Lebanon stated an Israeli strike near the Syrian approach Sunday killed four people, while Israel said it targeted operatives from the Palestinian militant team Islamic Jihad. Despite a November 2024 truce planned to end over a year of Israel-Hezbollah hostilities, Israel has continued carrying out normal strikes in Lebanon.
