Iran’s Revolutionary Guards start army drills in Strait of Hormuz

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Monday began a collection of military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz, state media reported, on the eve of talks with the United States. The dry run, the duration of which was not specified, objective to prepare the Guards for “possible safety and military dangers” in the strait, state television claimed, after the United States released a large marine force to the area.
