China is increasing very automated manufacturing facilities where robotics outnumber workers and run with marginal lights. One vehicle plant can build up to 1,200 electric vehicles a day, reducing labour expenses and decreasing errors. Humans are still needed for upkeep and last top quality checks, yet staffing is 7 times lower than in standard plants. France 2 has this record.
