” We call them incels now,” mirrors Paul Schrader, that composed the movie script for Taxi Driver, released 50 years ago on Sunday. “‘ Incels’ wasn’t a word back then yet it is these men that are lonesome, who see themselves incapable to reach females, have a repressed backlog of temper and resentment and think of some sort of remarkable transcendent change with violence.”
