France’s previous president Nicolas Sarkozy on Tuesday preserved his virtue as he went back to court to appeal his sentence for looking for funding from Libya’s late authoritarian Muammar Gaddafi to fund his 2007 presidential campaign. If Sarkozy sheds his appeal, he confronts 10 years in prison.
